The Oakland California Temple
The Oakland Temple gave me the impression of the Taj Mahal upon first seeing it. The grounds are absolutely lovely. The building has an oriental motif and the spires a lattice construction unique among LDS temples. The detail, such as the bas relief above, is exquisite, as it is on all the temples I have visited.
The Oakland Temple, the fifteenth largest, was dedicated in 1964.
