These next pictures are of Mammoth Hot Springs. As in the sections above, I'll not attempt to name the features for you or give you their precise location. All are at the northern entrance to the park. There is an "Upper Terraces" drive and a "Lower Terraces" trail. Both are worthwhile, to say the least.
These terraces vary in height from say one-half inch to forty feet. It is incredible. Water flows over some of them; some hold water, like a quiche pan; some are dry. Some are pure white, others multicolored. Some have stalactites. The variety is immense.
