Glacier National Park
St. Mary Lake, to me the most beautiful spot in Glacier National Park.
Going-to-the-Sun Road, completed in 1932, crosses the park east and west. The route is spectacular, but the road itself is badly in need of extensive repair. In addition to widening, it needs more and safer turnoffs.
A different view of St. Mary Lake, from the eastern edge of Glacier National Park.
This varmint is a marmot.
