Isa Lake, a small pond really, is located on the Continental Divide south of Old Faithful. In the spring when the snow and ice melt, the lake overflows. The water which flows through the outlet at the western end of the lake eventually finds its way to the Atlantic Ocean; the water which flows through the outlet at the eastern end eventually finds its way to the Pacific Ocean.
