All photos of Yellowstone Falls seem to look alike. What I'm going to do here is start with a distance shot and move in.
These photos were all taken the same day. It was early autumn, late in the afternoon.
I guess the official name of this falls is Lower Falls of the Yellowstone River. The water falls 308 feet (93 meters). By comparison, Multnomah Falls in Oregon is twice that high. But the volume of water at Yellowstone Falls is much greater.
These photos were not all taken from the same spot. I went to several of the vantage points.
This is my favorite of the photos of the falls. I have a 16" x 20" one hanging in my living room, and it is gorgeous!
And this is as close as I could get. I hope you have enjoyed these photos of the falls.
