Captain William Clark Park
Captain William Clark Park is located at the spot Lewis and Clark stopped at for a few days on their way back from the Pacific Ocean. In the process of being updated with new structures and replicas, it is located just at the western boundary of the Scenic Area, at Cottonwood Beach. Several of these replicas of Chinook Indian fishing boats are beached here, just as when Lewis and Clark greeted the Chinooks that day two hundred years ago. Also on display are some petroglyphs from nearby locations.
