My mother at about eighty years old. This was probably the last picture taken of her.

She is buried alongside my father and his first wife at Morehead, Kentucky. I wonder how she would feel about that?

She was the mother of

• two very successful entrepreneurs
• a college professor
• a pioneer in health insurance services
• a school teacher
• a mid-level corporation executive
• an attorney
