Tad's Chicken 'n Dumplins

Tad's Chicken and Dumplins



The first stop on the Historic Columbia River Highway, just east of Troutdale, is Tad's Chicken and Dumplins. They aren't open until 5:00 weekdays, earlier weekends, though so you'll have to plan accordingly if you want to eat here.

It's a good place to eat and drink; overlooks the Sandy River. Prices: reasonable.

They have an interersting sign. This is what you'll see heading east. But if you are heading west, you'll see:


August 2007: The other evening some friends and I ate at Tad's. Good meal. It was still light out when we left, so we drove on up the Gorge on the Columbia River Historic Highway. It was a beautiful evening. Here are some of the pics I took.
